Daughters of Eve...

Working in Construction.... Well let me tell you, that's just pretty much a normality in my life. (I actually really like construction, but don't tell anyone.) We had the kitchen remodeled this week. We had an extractor hood put in. It was so much fun to have this huge mess in the kitchen with the stoves pulled out so you couldn't do anything on them, while trying to decide what to feed 30 people. Just a blast. *sarcasm* All in all it wasn't too bad. The guys that were in the kitchen were pretty good about it. We may or may not have had sawdust in the food, just kidding. So although it is up, it is not working yet.
With not having students here at the moment, things are pretty quiet. Processing the snowboarders leaving still, and processing all that God taught me over that time, has been difficult and joyful at the same time. I love what he is doing here and how my heart breaks for different things. Then again finding the time to do that has been a challenge. Mainly because it's been a crazy couple of weeks, everyone has their emotions at a high. "At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, "Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens."The words "once more" indicate the removing of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain." - Hebrews 12:26-27 I love this verse, it's so fitting for what's going on not only in this country but as well on base. Things have been shook up from one school leaving to another coming in. We have to stand firm in Christ, stand up for who we are in him. Rise up the warrior spirit in us all, to fight for something worth fighting for.....
