Hello Again!
Oh man what a trip it's been so far! We started off in little 'ol Oxford and headed for Picton to catch the ferry to Wellington which is on the North island. We visited our friend Lydia who was staying with her aunt and uncle above Auckland so it was a good 14 hour drive from where we started. We stayed with her for a week just relaxing and regaining our strength from the week before. Then we made our way back to the South island of course stopping to see some of the Lord of the Rings movie locations such as Hobbiton and Mount Doom! The North island sure is pretty and has things that the South island doesn't. I think I'm more partial to the South island just because the roads aren't so confusing! Driving is another story we have a car that we rented and it's a manual. New Zealand has opposite roads then us Americans. It's been great though! We are currently in Westport, on the West Coast. The beaches are great and the sun is warm. It's starting to get that fall feeling though. I just wonder what the weather is going to be like back home when I get off the plane I will probably still be wearing my jandals. (that's what kiwi's call flip flops) We have met up with some people it has been great hearing what kinds of travels people are having and what God has been doing since we graduated! God has been showing me discernment for people and for myself, to keep in the word and to keep myself motivated for him. Since we aren't on a schedule anymore it could be hard to just go back to your normal habits and back to who you were before. Although we are doing pretty good at keeping each other accountable. It's nice and windy today we did a hike up to see the foulwinds light house. Gorgeous scenery! We will probably be headed down more south I don't think we are going all the way to Invercargill because that is just way down there! We are going to see Earthcare graduate on March 19th then we will chill up by Hanmer Springs before we all leave at the end of the month. I pray that everyone is well and that you are all staying warm!
