Which Song do you sing?

So I realized the other day whilst being on base here in the kitchen that everyone sings a different song. You hear about everyone has a different dance but I like the saying that they have a different song, life is like that though. Everyday is different and everyday is a new song. Like today for me it's Alive by Skillet but yesterday it was completely different! I have loved being back on base I have been back since Tuesday. There is a new school going on right now the Around the World in 80 Days DTS is going on right now, they leave on outreach in May and they graduate on the mount of olives in Israel. Talk about ah-mazing! I love New Zealand so much! If you ever get the chance you should come down! I leave in 10 days, I am real excited to get home and see everyone! Easter will be fun since my mother decided to have it at home so I wouldn't have to travel far, I'll probably still be jet-lagged. Bless her... God has really been showing me different things while being here which have just rocked my world so far! I'm stoked to see what else he has for me and what else he is going to show me.

Isaiah 49

The Servant of the LORD
 1 Listen to me, you islands;
       hear this, you distant nations:
       Before I was born the LORD called me;
       from my birth he has made mention of my name.
 2 He made my mouth like a sharpened sword,
       in the shadow of his hand he hid me;
       he made me into a polished arrow
       and concealed me in his quiver.
 3 He said to me, "You are my servant,
       Israel, in whom I will display my splendor."
 4 But I said, "I have labored to no purpose;
       I have spent my strength in vain and for nothing.
       Yet what is due me is in the LORD's hand,
       and my reward is with my God."
 5 And now the LORD says—
       he who formed me in the womb to be his servant
       to bring Jacob back to him
       and gather Israel to himself,
       for I am honored in the eyes of the LORD
       and my God has been my strength-
 6 he says:
       "It is too small a thing for you to be my servant
       to restore the tribes of Jacob
       and bring back those of Israel I have kept.
       I will also make you a light for the Gentiles,
       that you may bring my salvation to the ends of the earth."
 7 This is what the LORD says—
       the Redeemer and Holy One of Israel—
       to him who was despised and abhorred by the nation,
       to the servant of rulers:
       "Kings will see you and rise up,
       princes will see and bow down,
       because of the LORD, who is faithful,
       the Holy One of Israel, who has chosen you."

So funny story that everyday when I open my bible randomly I always open to this passage. Which is good because I have really learned a lot from it just how to be faithful to God and how to be his servant. I have learned how to serve with my heart and not just with my hands. It's so great to love on people and also to serve them in a way no one else can! God is just so good and full of love for everyone! We need to delight in him as he delights in us and we need to enjoy the one who created us! He is amazing and goes without explanation! I love him and he loves you! God Bless...
