Wow time is just flying right by I can't believe that in one week I will be going to New Zealand again. Catching up with family and friends has been so great! I am truly blessed to have so many close friends back here. Although it has made for some pretty late nights of talking, laughing and reminiscing about our lives. It has amazed me to see how much people change or how things back home always stay the same. I mean everyone needs consistency in their lives.
Last week I was visiting my Grandparents in Michigan I was so happy I could spend a week with them. They are two funny people with a lot of wisdom to offer others. I was sitting at a table with 80 years of life experience, 8 hearing aids and 4 different stories. You know when I'm older with more life experience I hope I am still doing crazy things. My friends and I always joked at school that we were going to be the old ladies in the nursing home having wheel chair races down the hall and getting into trouble still. You know you need those people that are crazy in your life they are the ones that keep you sane or down to earth. Who is that in your life?
My brother is an interesting character. You know growing up we were pretty close in age and in our brother/sister relationship. Now that we haven't really seen each other we have gotten closer. Funny how that happens.
Saying goodbye is always hard that's why I say "see ya later" because life is like a highway, some people ride along side you for a while and some people get off at different points of the ride. We have to enjoy it while it lasts you never know when people will leave you or when people will re-enter your life again. When I look at it that way it helps me with leaving again. I know I'll be back but it won'e be for a while it's hard and exciting at the same time. God has a big plan and I'm so happy he is including me in his plan. He has big plans for everyone, we just have to trust him...
