Being BOLD!

"Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him. He was despised and rejected by men, a mand of sorrows, and familiar with suffering. Like one from whime men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and afflicted yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter and as a sheep before her shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth. By oppression and judgement he was taken away. And who can speak of his descendants? For he was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgression of my people he was stricken. He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death though he had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth. Yet it was the Lord's will to crush him nad cause him to suffer, and through the Lord makes his life a guilt offering, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will fo the Lord will prosper in his hand. After the suffering of his soul he will see the light of life and be satisfied by his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many and he will bear their iniquities. Therefore I will give him a portion among the great, and he will divide the spoils with the strong, because he poured out his life unto death and was numbered with the transgressors. For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors." Isaiah 53
By his wounds we are healed! Jesus I can't fathom that he took it all for us! We reject him but he still loves us! We are at the ends of the earth literally down here. We just have to be still and know he is here with us. The opposite way is a song by Leeland- it talks about going the opposite way, in New Zealand they drive on the left side of the road, the drivers seat is the passenger seat, the water goes the other way when you flush, they don't have central heat just stoves and space heaters and some other stuff I can't think of right now. I didn't realize it but I really am going the Opposite Way down here, not just in my faith. At first I felt out of my comfort zone but now I'm getting used to it. Jesus always went the opposite way, he set the example for us, what we need to do is show the world a different lifestyle of how to live, that way people can see how Jesus lived by our actions.
Christchurch tonight was interesting. Ben, Anthony and I decided to venture out and find different places to minister in. We decided to stop in a neat looking restaurant/ bar. When we got in and sat down we prayed and could feel the evil spirits in the place, we all felt out of place and decided to leave and go back to the square where most people travel through, because the square is the center of the city. There are a lot of backpackers that travel through Christchurch. Every Friday night a local Church group hand out free sausages to the homeless people. We had a great opportunity to minister to the homeless, some of their stories are so amazing how they got to where they are now. It's inspiring but at the same time amazing how God is using all of us to minister to all these people.
I keep getting songs stuck in my head today the song was Jesus Paid It All and City On Our Knees.
