Uffda

I was told by my friend stephan that he knew I grew up in Minnesota because I said Uffda when I looked up the mountain. This weekend we went hiking, a 7 hour hike. Lewis pass was a 3 hour hike, and this really was a hike. I felt like I was in lord of the rings running from the orkes. It was so steep but it was awesome the people I was hiking with were so much fun. When we got to the top it was all worth it. The view was amazing the grass we sat on felt like pine needles. There was snow too it was packing snow and it felt really good after the hike on the top of the mountain. After Lewis pass we hiked to where we were staying. Which when we got there we found out that there was no hut space left, so we all had to stay in tents. Which we all had such a blast! We all woke up with smiles. What God showed me on this trip was that his creation is so amazing that we can only grasp a glimps of it when we get on mountains or driving through valleys. I learned that he gives me strength especially when I need it like going up the mountain. He brings our group closer and closer each day. I love it, I feel so at home here.
