What's What?

Pretty much we just serve the most amazing God there is! This week was supposed to slow down for me, but instead it has picked up. I know it's Thursday and we are over hump day but just preparing for the weekend and next week, I get tired just thinking about it! Kings Kids left on Tuesday so we are down to 55 now but Mark Parker is here and he is such an amazing speaker but he does like to talk a lot. So the students don't usually eat until about 30-45 min past meal time. You know though, through it all God has really shown his glory and how to bless people even though there is a crazy schedule and somedays you don't sit for 5 min you can still bless someone. I just find that truly amazing! The love he has for me and you is abundantly growing everyday!
We prayed for Haiti today in intercession. The person leading this moring was my outreach leader on my DTS. He asked where were you on January 12th, 2010? What were you doing? That's the day the earthquake hit and caused disaster. I don't know where you were but I was in Cambodia praying on this day for this country after we heard the news. Prayer time was so amazing and Holy Spirit lead. I felt so filled up after this. I was bouncing around the kitchen singing, dancing, cooking, chopping. No matter what I do I can praise and worship the Lord. Even in the disgusting jobs I can still praise his name and bring him glory!!! He delights in us so why can't we delight in what we do for him? Sounds good to me!
For inspiration I have pictures... What inspires you? I have pictures of friends, family, scenery, mainly of water. I don't know why but I just love the water! Lighthouses, sail boats, lakes, you name it I love it if it's in the water! Inspiration comes from the inside out. Motivation comes from the outside in. If you want to inspire someone you need to start with their heart and work your way out. "To see the gold in someone else, you need to use the gold in yourself" If your heart isn't right how do you expect to see anyone elses heart and help them. If you only see the dirt in people then what does that say about yourself? For me I am constantly praying for more of God's heart, as well for more of his heart for the people I serve or have difficulty with. He responds in the most unique ways. For me I am usually thrown together with that person more, just so I can show that I love them because God loves them. Thank goodness for that!
